Come roll through the Valley with Sweet Valley Rollers! This ~15-mile evening cruise starts and ends at North Hollywood Station, taking us through Burbank and past neighborhood streets and some of the area’s iconic movie studios and filming locations. Meetup is at 7:15 PM, with rollout at 8:00 PM.

The route has about 270 ft of elevation gain, with mostly smooth, skate-friendly surfaces and some typical cracks along the way. The first half has a noticeable downhill stretch, while the second half brings a more substantial uphill section before heading back toward North Hollywood.

Skaters should be comfortable cruising at an 8–10 mph group pace, controlling their speed on descents, and confidently braking and stopping. Plan for approximately 2 to 2.5+ hours on the route, depending on stops and the group.

    “Sweet Valley Rollers”

As one of the newest skate groups in the LA scene, The Sweet Valley Rollers was founded by a father-daughter duo—Ophelia and Edward. While most LA skate groups are south of the 101 freeway, their dream is to bring love to the San Fernando Valley on wheels.

Edward has been a casual inline skater and bicyclist since the ’80s and encouraged Ophelia, at the age of eleven, to play roller derby with a local team. Their love for skating, in combination with their love for other street skating groups, led them to create SVR.
